Job Summary

Nua Healthcare provides Residential care, Community outreach, and Day services to adults and children with complex support requirements in the areas of Intellectual Disability and Mental Health. Key Responsibilities
* Ensure best practice in the Safe Management and Administration of Medication throughout the service.
* Organise and manage clinics to ensure efficient delivery of care.
* Provide clinical supervision to nursing team members.
* Develop and deliver clinical training as required.
* Support the development of Policy, Protocols, and Guidelines in line with best practice.
* Liaise with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
* Support the development of health plans for new admissions.
* Write up memorandums of understanding with external psychiatrists and professionals.
* Respond to clinical needs across the service.
* Monitor and address medication errors to maintain high standards of patient care.
* Administer depot injections and phlebotomy as required.
Requirements
* Be registered on the Psychiatric Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Have excellent knowledge of all aspects of Medication Management.
* Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Show an understanding of the needs of individuals.
* Be able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
* Display ability to work on own initiative and make sound decisions.
* Have experience of relating to people in a supportive role.
* Show willingness to learn and develop professionally.
* Be reliable, flexible, and have good organisational and IT skills.
* Be self-motivated and able to plan time effectively.
* Hold a full current driving license.
