Job Title: Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) Process Engineer
Location: Waterford Site, Ireland
Contract: 18-Month Contract
Pay Rate Range: €80,000 - €100,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:00-16:30, Friday: 08:00-15:30
Shift: Standard Day Shift, no overtime. Hybrid option available for highly qualified candidates.
We are looking for a skilled Automated Visual Inspection (AVI) Process Engineer to join our team at the Waterford site. This role focuses on optimizing AVI processes for Pre-Filled Syringe products, ranging from manual to high-speed, high-volume AVI systems. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with global SMEs and other network sites to drive improvements in the process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Recipe Development & Optimization: Develop and optimize recipes for AVI machines used in prefilled syringe production.
* Qualification & Support: Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Performance Qualification (PQ) for AVI systems.
* Vision System Support: Evaluate and resolve vision system issues to minimize false rejects.
* Collaboration: Work with vendors, SMEs, and Engineering teams to ensure AVI processes meet required standards and performance.
* Compliance & Standards: Ensure AVI processes comply with global standards and regulatory requirements.
* New Product Introductions & Capacity Expansion: Support new product introductions, vendor selections, and improvements in OEE and yield.
* Root Cause Investigations: Lead technical investigations to identify and address process issues.
* Safety & Quality Programs: Support safety and quality initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree in Science or Engineering.
* Experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
* Knowledge of Automated Visual Inspection systems is desirable.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Understanding of visual inspection standards and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
