Join to apply for the Head of Projects and Change role at Irish Blood Transfusion ServiceJob DetailsPost 2264 Head of Projects & ChangeIT DepartmentFull Time Temporary, Fixed-TermLocation: National Blood Centre, Dublin 8The IBTS is currently recruiting a full-time, temporary Head of Projects & Change based in the IT Department, National Blood Centre.In line with its Corporate and IT strategies, the IBTS is undertaking an ambitious programme of modernisation and transformation with the key objective of being a digitally enabled and integrated service. This transformation programme is balanced with the requirements to maintain a stable, secure operation, based on world-class IT systems.This programme of work requires an experienced manager to support the delivery of constituent projects and contribute to the transformation of the IBTS. The Projects & Change Manager will head up the Project Management Office, leading a team of dedicated Project Managers who are delivering this change, and will also support project managers across other parts of the organisation to ensure successful delivery.Qualifications:A degree in IT or a technology related discipline.Project Management certification.A minimum of 10 years’ project management experience, of which three must be in a similar senior role.Experience:Strong track record of driving the successful delivery of IT and business transformation programmes.Excellent stakeholder analysis and change management skills.Strong influencing skills particularly at senior management levels.Strong leadership skills, generating commitment and passion aligned with organisational values.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.Ability to work effectively in a team with technical and non-technical staff.Evidence of a strong commitment to Continuous Professional Development.Experience of a broad range of technologies and projects, including Infrastructure, applications development, Systems Integration and business-led projects.Experience working with Public Cloud, data analytics and AI technologies.Experience of delivering projects using Operational Technologies.Experience of security standards and legislation, such as ISO27001, NIST, and NIS-D/NIS2.ITIL and/or LEAN certifications.Experience working in a GxP environment.Experience in a regulated environment.Experience working in the Public Sector.Experience of Public Sector Procurement.The salary scale attached to the post is the Management/Finance Officer scale € 84,065 to € 103,023 (incl. LSI) pro rata per annum.
