VP Treasury Job Description
We are recruiting a talented professional to join our team as VP Treasury for a well-established aviation finance firm in Dublin.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing platform that has ambitious expansion plans on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, refine, and enhance financial and business models to support strategic planning and forecasting.
2. Continuously evaluate and improve forecasting models to maintain accuracy and relevance, presenting insights to senior leadership.
3. Oversee monthly internal and external reporting for loan portfolios, including reports for rating agencies, equity stakeholders, and lender groups.
4. Review contractual documents (credit agreements, loan servicing agreements, lease contracts, etc.) and ensure compliance with all facility obligations.
5. Assist in preparing loan amortization schedules and setting interest rates.
6. Generate management and board reports on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
7. Serve as a liaison between internal teams (risk, contracts, commercial) and external partners.
8. Identify areas for improvement in treasury operations and implement process enhancements.
Experience:
1. A background in finance or banking is essential; exposure to aviation leasing is a strong advantage.
2. Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query) and experience with modelling software/tools (e.g., VBA, SQL, R, Python).
3. Demonstrated ability to handle large datasets, perform in-depth analyses, and develop intuitive dashboards.
4. Strong expertise with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
5. Familiarity with treasury management systems is a plus.
6. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-time-zone environment.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
8. Candidates must have EU/EEA/UK citizenship or a valid work visa for Ireland.
