Key Responsibilities
* Champion and advocate for Enterprise customers within Amazon Web Services
* Develop a team responsible for solving technical issues and collaborating with AWS engineers to resolve customer issues promptly
* Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
* Help Enterprise customers define IT and business processes compatible with cloud deployments
* Engage with Director and C-Level executives to translate business needs into technical and operational plans
* Collaborate with AWS executive leadership to influence the product roadmap
* Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning
The ideal candidate has:
* 4+ years of experience managing technical teams
* 5+ years of direct customer engagement, focusing on support to senior executives (Vice President and C-level)
* A track record of effectively managing technical teams
* An estimated 25% travel requirement
* Experience scaling an organization through rapid growth or expansion
Prior experience in technical account management, business relationship management, or consulting is highly valued. Experience in Financial Services Industry is also beneficial. The ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical skills, communication style adaptability, and proficiency in communicating complex ideas.
