Job Description
Based out of our permanent Hygienic Fabrication Facility in Co. Cork, the Workshop Manager will be responsible for the production output across the facility. These responsibilities will include health and safety, quality, scheduling, logistics and materials delivery, to ensure the production schedule is met to the required standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensure weekly and daily work plans are completed and targets are met and exceeded where possible, this is a leading role and a critical requirement to drive productivity.
* Close contact with facility personnel ensuring that all access, information and materials are available to ensure productive work.
* Day-to-day management of the facility, including supervising and monitoring the facility labour force.
* Ability to determine fabrication project schedule needs, provide support in the completion of project schedule, 6 weeks look ahead, reporting on fabrication progress and highlighting issues / roadblocks to Construction Project Managers.
* Responsible for on-time shipping, stock control in the workshop and warehouse and site install teams’ requirements.
* Conduct regular safety walks of the Fabrication Facility and close out actions / endorse best practices.
* Conduct regular quality walks of the Manufacturing Facility and close out actions / endorse best practices.

The successful candidate must have a strong offsite and construction background and will be supported in developing their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Skills and Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Trade Qualification.
* Supervision Experience essential.
* 5 years’ experience in a fabrication facility desirable.
* Strong communications skills, both written and oral required.
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
* Excellent organisational delegation and planning skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office systems required.
