Job Title: Maintenance/Facilities Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance/Facilities Manager to join our team in the Public/Healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the maintenance department to deliver quality-based, cost-effective services, including managing contracts, grounds of facility, health & safety, and equipment in accordance with regulations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the implementation of IT development programs.
* Oversee the performance and maintenance of buildings, including mechanical and electrical services.
* Participate in and manage new development projects.
* Prepare annual building and maintenance plans, including minor/major capital, energy management, PEMAC requests.
* Evaluate contracts to ensure they align with H&S policies/procedures and construction regulations.
* Chair meetings and committees.
* Develop reports, estimates, specifications, and drawings.
* Carry out risk assessments, audits, and fire safety evaluations.
* Establish budgetary plans for infrastructural works, procurement, and purchasing of materials.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Electrical/Mechanical trade, Engineering/Surveying/Facilities/Chartered Surveyors or equivalent qualification.
* At least 7 years of experience in mechanical/electrical/engineering management of large buildings.
* Proven experience in managing operational budgets.
* Ability to lead multidisciplinary trades and technical teams.
* Experience implementing Planned Maintenance programs.
* Familiarity with building service systems, technologies (e.g., UPS units, AHU's, water treatment systems).
* Possession of a valid Safe Pass or equivalent certification.
