Supply Chain Manager - County Cavan
The supply chain team comprises sourcing, planning, warehouse, and procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
* Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery reliability.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes for the company.
Supply Chain Management:
Oversight and management of end-to-end supply chain processes including demand planning, procurement, transportation, and inventory control.
Inventory Management:
Optimization of inventory levels to balance carrying costs with production requirements.
Supplier & Vendor Management:
Continuously assessing supplier performance and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
Cost Optimization & Risk Management:
Identification of opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, supplier consolidation, and negotiations.
Team Leadership:
Management and leadership of the procurement and supply chain team, providing mentorship and training.
Reporting & Data Analysis:
Preparation of regular reports on key supply chain metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
Utilization of data analytics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
