Eden Montessori School is looking to grow our team! We provide full and part-time care for children from 2 years. We are a new high-quality, fully equipped environment based in Harolds Cross. We are dedicated to assisting children’s development in both the indoor and large outdoor environment.
Eden Montessori School is currently recruiting a full-time teacher to join our team (minimum QQI level 7). This role is perfect for a Montessori teacher who wishes to support and guide children through their early years while being a valuable member of our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensuring the individual needs of children are met
2. An in-depth understanding of the developmental needs of children
3. Montessori training or excellent experience in a Montessori environment
4. An up-to-date working knowledge of the latest developments in the early years sector
5. A passionate commitment to the provision of the highest standards of education and care
6. Assess and plan for children’s learning based on their interests and needs
7. Ability to work and connect with all age groups
8. Excellent communication skills in order to document learning and maintain all relevant records
9. Awareness of early years regulations, relevant legislation, and policies
10. Adhering to company policies, procedures, and operational practices at all times
11. Excellent proven leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, and organization skills
12. Ensuring positive working relationships are developed and maintained with children, parents, and team members
13. Training or experience in a Montessori setting
14. Have a minimum QQI Level 7 in an early years education qualification
15. Excellent communication skills with fluency in both spoken and written English
16. Knowledge of Síolta, Aistear, and the Early Years (Pre-school services) Regulations is essential
17. Ability to form strong, warm, and friendly relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members
18. To work as part of a team but also on own initiative

* 8am - 5pm / 9am - 6pm rotation
