About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Sage/SICON 200 System Developer to join our team in Cookstown. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing our Sage 200 system to meet the specific needs of our switchgear manufacturing business.
Main Responsibilities
* System Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives, conduct comprehensive analysis of existing Sage 200 system configuration and functionality, identify areas for improvement and customization.
* System Development and Customization: Customize Sage 200/SICON modules and features to optimize business processes, develop custom reports, dashboards, and workflows to support decision-making and enhance visibility into key performance metrics, integrate Sage 200/SICON with other business systems and applications as needed.
* Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of customizations and integrations, conduct thorough testing of new features and enhancements to identify and address any issues or discrepancies.
* Documentation and Training: Prepare comprehensive documentation of system configurations, customizations, and workflows, provide training and support to end users to ensure effective utilization of Sage 200 system capabilities.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in developing and customizing Sage 200 systems for manufacturing or similar industries.
* Strong understanding of switchgear manufacturing processes and industry-specific requirements is an advantage.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, VBScript, or C#.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
