We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the delivery of a €50-70 million student accommodation project in South Dublin. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile development with one of Ireland's top-tier contractors. The Role As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and completion of this state-of-the-art project. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will lead a skilled project team and ensure the delivery of high-quality work, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations. Team Management: Build, lead, and motivate a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and performance excellence. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management and the client. What Were Looking For Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years project management experience, ideally with large-scale commercial or residential developments. Previous experience with student accommodation projects is an advantage. Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern construction methodologies, contracts (e.g., RIAI, NEC), and project management tools. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, manage subcontractors, and deliver complex projects to a high standard. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships and negotiate effectively. Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and implementing solutions. Certifications: A valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and any additional construction-related certifications are essential.
