Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client based in Craigavon, who are currently recruiting a Plant Asset Manager to oversee and optimise their Plant asset portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain detailed reports of all plant assets, including equipment, machinery, tools, and infrastructure.
* Coordinate routine Maintenance and preventative upkeep of Plant equipment.
* Monitor the condition of assets throughout their life cycle.
* Conduct regular quality control assessments to ensure assets meet operational standards.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance and reliability.
* Utilise SAP systems for tracking and reporting on asset performance metrics.
* Assemble and disassemble equipment as necessary for maintenance or upgrades.
* Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure optimal supply chain management related to assets.
* Provide input on capital expenditure planning and future equipment needs.
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in asset management or a related field.
* Demonstrated understanding of business processes and their impact on asset utilisation.
* Oversight of the operation, maintenance, and servicing of all company plant, machinery, and equipment.
* Coordination with external suppliers, contractors, and service providers to develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs with a focus on minimising downtime.
* Collaboration with fabrication teams to improve machinery efficiency and longevity.
Working Environment:
A combination of office and site-based work, with regular visits to operational areas.
