HR Generalist - Manufacturing Site Location: Derry, Waterside area. Travel: Up to 10% (within Ireland) Type: Full-Time Sector: Manufacturing / Operations Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Generalist to join a growing manufacturing organisation. The successful candidate will provide hands-on HR support to operational management, with a strong focus on workforce planning, employee data accuracy, and compliance. This is a vital role within the HR team, supporting business-critical operations across multiple locations in Ireland. Key Responsibilities: Generate and analyse people data reports using HR and business systems to support decision-making. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and systems. Provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees in line with employment law and internal policies. Support the rollout of new HR systems and drive engagement with change initiatives. Partner with managers to drive performance, engagement, and career development. Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented and followed across the site. Coordinate hiring activity with recruitment partners and hiring managers. Assist with resolving employee relations matters swiftly and professionally. Manage general HR administration, including accurate personnel file management. Provide payroll data accurately and on time for monthly processing. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment. Degree in Human Resources or a related field (desirable). Proficient in HR systems (Oracle HCM or similar preferred). Strong IT and reporting skills (Excel, Word, HR databases). Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and following H&S guidelines. Additional Info: This role involves regular presence on the production floor and may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Occasional travel to other sites across Ireland (up to 10%) is required.
