Are you passionate about helping people grow and thrive? As a Trainer at Lir Chocolates, you will be responsible for delivery, assessment and evaluation of training for our people. You will work alongside stakeholders to maintain compliance levels within the business and ensure staff have the skills and knowledge to perform in their role.
Responsibilities
* Coordinates and delivers training as identified for roles including Food Safety, Allergen, Equality & Diversity, Integrity, etc.
* Performs validation to ensure that staff are using the learning on the job.
* Performs assessment activities to ensure that staff have retained the knowledge from the learning.
* Develops learning solutions.
* Performs learning needs analysis.
* Work with the business to ensure compliance levels are maintained at agreed attainment levels.
* Act as a point of contact for colleagues who may wish to discuss learning matters.
* Assist in maintaining learning KPIs.
* Maintain the LMS, ensuring that all content is up to date, relevant and assigned correctly.
* Partner with SMEs in the design and execution of mandatory training and policy review.
* Drive consistent, relevant traffic engagement of our learning platform.
* Coordinate mandatory compliance training for new starters and competence verified within 12 weeks of commencement of employment.
* Write, review and amend SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and OPLs (One Point Lessons). Update Document Control Systems and Site Training to reflect latest document revisions. Train pertinent personnel on the latest documents and modifications.
* Explore new ways to engage and reach our employees.
* Research emerging industry trends, new technologies, concepts and performance techniques.
* A proactive, curious individual who thrives in dynamic environments and has a knack for driving improvement.
* Proven experience training or coaching individuals.
* The ability to quickly get up to speed on our training content in order to maintain, improve and deliver to employees (Food Safety, Allergen Awareness, etc.).
* Excellent people skills, with the ability to inspire and engage teams.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
* GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
