Job Description
As part of a wider growth initiative, we are seeking to appoint an individual to Lead our Impact Assessment Practice in the Republic of Ireland. Reporting directly to the UK&I Impact & Assessment Practice Lead, you will be a key member of the Planning & Communities leadership team for the UK and Ireland region. We are flexible on location and have offices in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast.
In this role, you will lead and manage the Impact Assessment Practice within the Planning & Communities team, focusing on project delivery, resource management, work winning, and people management. Your exceptional leadership skills will be instrumental in driving innovation and delivering a better world.
About You
You are a highly motivated, organized, and proactive leader with a proven track record in the environmental consultancy industry. Your deep understanding of the UK&I Environment and Sustainability consultancy market will be integral to your success. You have extensive experience in leading diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the Republic of Ireland Impact Assessment Practice.
2. Lead the environmental inputs to EIA Screening and Scoping reports, Environmental Impact Assessment Reports, and supporting documents.
3. Accountable for the performance of the RoI Impact Assessment Practice versus the financial plan.
4. Collaborate closely with the UK&I Impact Assessment Practice Lead to develop and implement a growth plan.
5. Champion a proactive approach to work winning by identifying new business opportunities.
6. Drive project delivery excellence, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and with high-quality results.
Qualifications
Here’s what we’re looking for:
1. Membership of a recognized professional body.
2. Master’s or Engineering Degree in an appropriate Environmental related field.
3. Strong track record of achieving/exceeding financial KPIs.
4. Experience working with various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and transportation.
5. Experience in leading and growing large teams.
