About the role

THE ROLE
Tesco Ireland is currently seeking to appoint a Customer Experience Manager who will have responsibility for leading a team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. This role will report to the Deputy Manager.
You will be responsible for
* Creating an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
* Managing store operations, including checkout operations and equipment
* Being responsible for the store in the absence of the Store Manager/Deputy Manager
* Ensuring team members are fully trained and validated in their roles
* Fostering a culture of trust through two-way communication
* Coaching and managing colleagues to meet daily priorities
* Reviewing reports and systems for improvements
* Driving a culture of zero food waste
* Recruiting passionate colleagues for our team
* Ensuring cleaning specifications are met
* Managing stock control activities
* Resolving pricing discrepancies to ensure correct charges
* Managing front-end operations to minimize customer queuing
* Recognizing and providing feedback on colleague performance
You will need
For the ‘Customer Experience Manager’ role, you should have:
* A passion for delivering excellent customer service
* Adaptability and agility in your thinking
* Experience in a fast-paced environment
* A track record of being the ‘Go To’ person for departmental queries
* Influencing skills at a senior level
* Previous retail experience in a similar role preferred
