Applications are invited for a permanent or temporary 3-year post of a Technical Officer - Agri-environmental Sciences within UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science.
University College Dublin seeks to recruit a Technical Officer in the School of Agriculture and Food Science. The appointee will work with staff in the Environment and Sustainable Resource Management Section, providing support for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research activities in the areas of agri-environmental sciences, horticulture and forestry. Specifically, the successful applicant will contribute technical entomological/zoological support for teaching and demonstration needs of programmes, and for laboratory, greenhouse and field-based research. The main laboratories and teaching facilities are located on the UCD Belfield campus (including UCD Rosemount Environmental Research Station), but the appointee will be expected to carry out some duties at UCD Lyons Farm, and at other field sites in Ireland.
95 Technical Officer_2013 (7915) Salary Scale: €46,793 - €61,319 Per Annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
