Health & Safety Officer | Dublin & Leinster c.€55/65k, Bonus, Pension, Car & Benefits Required for a leading national main contractor in new build, refurbishment, fitout, civil engineering, and pharma projects up to €150m.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of construction experience and will be based at the head office (North Dublin), with required travel throughout the GDA (Greater Dublin Area) for site visits and inspections.
The successful candidate will report to the Safety Manager and assist site management with safety administration.
Duties:
Ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest Health and Safety standards.
Carrying out inductions and other site-specific training packages.
Implementation and enforcement of daily and weekly EHS programmes.
Assisting Site Management with all aspects of the day-to-day coordination of site activities.
Conducting weekly audits.
Reviewing EHS documentation.
Maintaining the site records.
Desired:
Recognised Safety qualification.
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
Proactive and able to work on own initiative as well as being a strong team player.
