Job Description:
The Sustainable Together Resilient Organised Network for Growth (STRONG) Project Coordinator will play a critical role in delivering the programme's key objectives, focused on enhancing the capacity and sustainability of Disabled People's Organisations (DPOs) in Northern Ireland.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage, co-ordinate and deliver the STRONG Project, ensuring it meets its objectives on time and within budget
* Develop training materials and guides that can be shared and reused by DPOs post-programme to ensure sustainability
* Ensure active engagement and ownership of the programme by DPOs, addressing the access needs and barriers they face
* Build and maintain collaborative relationships with DPOs and other key stakeholders across Northern Ireland
* Work closely with DPOs to assess their governance, leadership, financial, and operational needs
* Coordinate and deliver workshops on essential topics such as financial planning, good governance, project management, and strategic planning
Requirements:
* At least 2 years experience project management experience of multi-year projects, preferably in the non-profit sector
* Experience in budgeting and financial planning within a non-profit or similar context
* Strong understanding of the challenges facing small community-based organisations, particularly in governance, financial management, and leadership
* A high level of computer literacy with experience of using Microsoft Office packages
* The ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadline
