About the Role: Our client, a leading supplier of medical consumables, is looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling a wide range of consumables to hospitals and healthcare facilities within Leinster or Northern Ireland.

You will develop long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales and Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals and healthcare facilities. Achieve sales targets by promoting a range of medical consumables.
* Product Knowledge & Demonstrations: Provide expert product knowledge and conduct demonstrations of medical consumables to hospital staff, including procurement teams, nurses, and doctors.
* Market Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the product range within existing accounts and targeting new clients.
* Customer Support: Offer excellent after-sales support, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business. Resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
* Sales Reporting: Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback. Provide regular reports to management.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing and customer service to ensure product availability and customer needs are met.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience in Sales: Proven track record in medical sales, preferably in medical consumables, or experience in a B2B sales environment (hospital/healthcare sector experience a plus).
* Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals at all levels.
* Knowledge of Healthcare Market: Familiarity with hospital purchasing processes, procurement departments, and decision-making protocols.
* Target-Driven: Ability to work towards and meet sales targets, with a strong sense of self-motivation and initiative.
* Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting products to clinical teams, delivering clear and persuasive demonstrations.
* Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiating ability to close sales and secure long-term contracts.
* Driving License: Full, clean driver’s license is required for travel across the designated territory.
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant scientific/healthcare field.
* Knowledge of the latest healthcare trends and medical technologies.
* Experience in a field sales role within the healthcare industry (preferred).
