Financial Data Analyst
The Financial Data Analyst is responsible for assisting the Global Innovation & R&D Controlling department in the control and reporting of the Scientific Innovation Office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform month-end close duties such as journal entries and management reports.
* Develop a deep understanding of ongoing R&D operations and the most updated status of all R&D projects to add maximum value to the organization.
* Manage actuals versus budget to allow R&D to attain targets.
* Oversee maintenance of R&D tracking systems and work to enhance or develop improved project tracking capabilities.
* Develop methodologies and execute processes to create meaningful representations of data for R&D project tracking as required by management.
* Perform the business budget and forecasting process.
* Manage the monthly/year-end closing and financial reporting process, including analysis of operating results and budget versus actual reporting, with detailed explanations of variances.
* Provide support for special projects and ad hoc requests.
* Prepare business cases and financial evaluations for current pipeline projects and new business opportunities.
* Assist in maintaining the cost accounting system, involving master data and project portfolio.

Qualifications:
* BA in Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in multinational corporations.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish.
* Experience in Pharma.
