The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic team within a global financial services organisation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing key programmes and transformation projects within the Corporate Banking function. You will oversee the progress of industrialisation initiatives, implement best practices, and deliver critical projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and monitor programme portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
2. Facilitate governance, manage executive-level communications, and provide robust progress reporting.
3. Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement solutions to ensure timely delivery.
4. Collaborate with diverse teams across regions, fostering effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
5. Define and optimise processes impacted by projects, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
6. Manage the change management stream of projects, ensuring successful adoption by impacted teams.
7. Contribute to strategic initiatives, business case development, and knowledge sharing.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Proven experience as a Project or Programme Manager, with at least 5 years of increasing leadership responsibilities.
2. Experience in Banking is a plus, and knowledge of Supply Chain Finance is an advantage.
3. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
4. Excellent organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
5. Proficient in stakeholder management and delivering results in a multicultural environment.
6. Familiarity with risk awareness and compliance in a banking environment is advantageous.
7. Knowledge of supply chain financing, digital transformation, or industrialisation is a plus.
8. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
