Research, Innovation & Technology Manager
The Research, Innovation & Technology Manager is responsible for delivering Learnovate's research and technology strategies and embedding innovation throughout Learnovate. Reporting to the Managing Director, this key member of the Senior Leadership Team holds primary responsibility for planning, development, and implementation of all research, innovation, and technology initiatives supporting Learnovate's vision, mission, and strategic direction relating to research, innovation, and technology.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive the strategic direction of research, innovation, and technology activities.
* Provide inspirational leadership across Learnovate to ensure rapid and effective responses to membership needs and research funding opportunities.
* Work collegially across the Learnovate Leadership team to generate collaborative opportunities increasing the impact of our research and developing a talent pool of next-generation researchers.
Contract Details
This role is a Specific Purpose Contract to implement Learnovate's research and technology strategies and embed innovation throughout the organisation. The position is funded by Enterprise Ireland, a non-core university funding stream anticipated to cease within a finite period. Employment is not offered on an indefinite basis, as the role is tied to specific strategic activities expected to be completed within a defined period.
Working Hours and Salary
This appointment will be made on the Senior Administrative 3 Salary Scale (€96,914 - €125,148 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. The role is 35 hours per week.
