St John of God Liffey Services invites applications for a Supervisor based in our Day Services within the North Kildare area to provide support to individuals with an intellectual disability.
Supervisor - Kildare Day Services Specified Purpose Contract - 6 months

KILDAY141-SPSUP-FEB2025 Liffey Services provides a network of education, training, employment, respite and community living supports to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in the South West Dublin and North Kildare areas.
Applications are invited for the Supervisor position in Kildare Day Services.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Day Services Coordinators and a team of Day Service Staff in the development and delivery of an innovative range of Person Directed Programmes that enables each individual to reach their full potential in accordance with the principles of Day Services National Policy, New Directions.
This is a critical leadership position and offers potential candidates a unique experience and an opportunity to work in a changing, dynamic and exciting environment.
Requirements:
A relevant third level qualification in the area of Health / Social Care/ Allied Health etc.
Management Qualification desirable Experience of working with adults with disabilities A clear vision and implementation strategy for the future direction for adult day services in line with New Directions National Policy Proven ability to demonstrate creativity and initiative when identifying opportunities for meaningful community involvement, interaction and participation including supported employment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, ICT and organisational skills Effective team management skills and a proven track record in meeting targets and standards Knowledge and experience in Person Directed Planning and the use of Assistive Technology Experience and in-depth knowledge of national policy on Safeguarding.
