Job Description
A leading national company in the manufacturing of bread and bakery products is seeking a QA Manager to join their team in Wexford. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent salary.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for Quality Food Safety systems on site, including HACCP, Plant Hygiene, GMP, Pest Control, Internal Audits, Customer Complaints, and Mondy to Friday role with Saturday's as required.
* Ensuring systems deliver product quality to agreed specifications consistently.
* Responsible for all matters relating to food safety and encouraging/promoting Quality Culture throughout the company.
* Working closely with site Management and Team Leaders to lead a culture of continuous improvement.
* Training of all staff on site.
* Play a key role in audits on site (3^rd Party, customer, regulatory).
* Management of the site hygiene department.
* Management of contract cleaning.
* Planning and implementing corrective/preventative actions as required.
* Ensure company policy and operational standards are always maintained.
* Identify and action cost reductions.
Requirements:
* 3^rd level qualification.
* 3-5 years' experience in a Food Safety/Quality Assurance role.
* Auditing experience (internal, customer, regulatory, 3^rd Party).
* People management experience.
* Flexibility.
* Problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication skills.
* Computer literate.
