Leisure Centre & Pool Manager - 4* Hotel Kilkenny €40k
Our client is looking for an experienced Leisure Center and Pool Manager to join their team. They are seeking a personable, customer-focused individual who can lead by example and has a proven track record of meeting KPIs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
1. Assisting the Revenue Manager in the successful and efficient supervision of the reservation team and revenue yield for the hotel, ensuring that the standards are implemented and adhered to by all service personnel.
2. Overseeing the effective implementation of all SOPs and procedures within the team, carrying out regular checks of these SOPs with team members.
3. Communicating clearly and effectively with the wider team within the Resort.
4. Managing daily telephone reservations and product upselling.
5. Meeting all health safety regulations, guidelines, and policy, ensuring that laid down emergency and contingency procedures are followed, and all staff are knowledgeable in these procedures.
6. Carrying out water testing and regular routine inspections of all equipment, with specific attention being given to health and fitness equipment, pool areas, and plant areas to ensure satisfactory operation and maintenance of safety standards.
7. Actively sourcing new clients and memberships for the Leisure Club, designing and promoting activities to meet customer demand and generate revenue.
8. Encouraging both internal and external marketing and promotion of the Leisure facilities and ensuring that staff are actively doing the same.
9. Working in conjunction with the Hotel Management and Marketing teams to ensure that budgets are adhered to and sales are met.
10. Being actively involved in daily operations in a ‘hands-on’ capacity.
