Quality Officer
We are seeking a Quality Officer to take ownership of our Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and 45001 while fostering a culture of operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Quality & Compliance Management: Maintain and improve our ISO 9001 and 45001 certified Quality Management System (QMS).
* Manage and prepare for internal and external audits to ensure full compliance.
* Develop and update quality policies, procedures, and documentation.
Incident Investigation & Risk Prevention:
* Investigate accidents, incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformances.
* Implement corrective and preventive actions, addressing root causes effectively.
* Monitor outcomes to ensure long-term improvements and risk mitigation.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
* Analyse quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement.
* Produce performance reports and present findings to senior management.
Collaboration & Leadership:
* Partner with production, design, and management teams to align on SHEQ objectives.
* Provide training and guidance to employees on SHEQ policies and best practices.
* Act as the primary contact for SHEQ matters with customers and suppliers.
Driving Continuous Improvement:
* Lead initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
* Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability at all levels of the organisation.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
* Experience in a Quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 45001 standards.
* A proactive problem solver with expertise in root cause analysis, FMEA, and SPC.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement.
* Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Proficiency in MS Office and quality management tools.
