Health and Safety Advisor Munster Region Experienced Health and Safety Advisor required for a leading construction contractor to work on marine and civil projects across the Munster region.
This role will suit a H&S professional with at least 8 years' experience in the construction industry, ideally with marine or infrastructure project exposure.
You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining safety policies, carrying out risk assessments, and fostering a strong safety culture across sites.
Requirements: 8+ years experience in a senior Health & Safety role within construction.
Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related discipline.
Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent.
Excellent knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
Proven experience managing H&S on large-scale construction projects.
Strong incident investigation and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement ability.
Duties: Develop and implement H&S policies tailored to marine construction.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits.
Lead incident investigations and maintain accurate records.
Deliver training and toolbox talks to staff and subcontractors.
Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation and company policies.
Collaborate with project teams, site personnel, and regulatory bodies.
Prepare and present health and safety reports to senior management.
