Summary: Our client is a pharmaceutical company based in Tipperary looking for a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer who will develop preventative maintenance schedules & routines for new equipment in the facility.
Responsibilities: Liaise with vendors to determine maintenance strategy for new GMP equipment.
Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability.
Establish and maintain KPIs for equipment performance, analyzing data to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providers to align with business needs.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure maintenance strategies comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure maintenance activities align with production needs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment efficiency and cost reduction.
Ensure a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of capital/expense projects.
Track and report progress as required against deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience: Must have as a minimum a 3rd level qualification in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in Pharm/Bio Pharm industry with experience in maintenance, engineering and project management practices.
Proven knowledge, appreciation and experience of working in strongly regulated GMP environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the customer/client relationship involved in project management.
