Reporting to the Claims Team Leader your overall responsibility will be to provide administrative support to Account Handlers and Loss Adjusters, aiding the region's efficiency and productivity in the handling of claims.
The roleProvide technical claims handling supportAppoint and liaise with Loss Adjusters to proactively support the case management of claims from initial set-up to conclusionRegister new claims and acknowledge/notify associated partiesLiaise with the insured, insurers, brokers and any other stakeholders, to ensure optimum service levels and to become a point of contact, where neededFormat and issue technical reports in compliance with professional standards and internal guidelines and in accordance with agreed timescalesDeal with internal and external queries in a professional manner and accurately record conversations/messagesEnsure compliance with financial procedures, such as the invoicing processEnsure data is accurately input in order to achieve high standards of data quality and management informationRecording daily timesheetsRun, check, analyse and distribute various management information reportsAssist with the preparation of client and business presentationsAttend client review meetings, as requiredParticipate and contribute to projects as requiredOther ad hoc duties as requiredAbout you - Knowledge and ExperienceEssential:Demonstratable administration skills, with previous experience in administrative and/or support rolesHighly organised, with the ability to multi-task and self-manage a varied workload with changing prioritiesA strong team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to deal professionally at all times with clients, policyholders and third partiesStrong working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointDesirable:Specific sector administration experience would be advantageousAPA or CIP qualifications would be beneficialAdvanced Excel skills
