Job Opportunity: General Operative / Dispatch Operator Location: South of Limerick City Salary: Starting at €14 per hour, increasing to €16 per hour after 6 months Shifts: Rotational shifts, including 8-4, 4-12, 12-8, 6-4, 4-2 (10-hour shifts) Transport: Own transport required (commutable from surrounding areas within a 45-minute drive, including Limerick City, Annacotty, Dooradoyle, Castletroy, Patrickswell, Caherconlish, Kilmallock, Adare, Croom, Bruff, and Hospital) We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing and distribution company seeking skilled General Operatives / Dispatch Operators to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities: Operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensuring all products meet compliance standards and maintaining an audit-ready work environment.
Safe operation of mechanical equipment, including palletisers, wrappers, forklifts, and power pallet trucks.
Preparing and loading pallets for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock management.
Conducting pre-loading hygiene checks and maintaining cleanliness in the dispatch area.
Completing necessary operational records to support food safety and traceability systems.
Identifying and reporting any damages, accidents, or quality deficiencies.
Adhering to all Health & Safety guidelines and procedures.
Providing support to colleagues and covering absences when required.
Requirements: Essential: Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic numerical, reading, analytical, and computer skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Full Driver's Licence and own transport.
Desirable: Valid Counterbalance Forklift & PPT Licence.
Experience with stock management processes.
Previous experience in a food production environment.
Shunter experience.
