My client is a high-growth, global aviation-focused company recruiting a VP of Human Resources to lead strategic HR initiatives across multiple international regions. This role is pivotal in driving engagement, culture, and talent development across global offices and Ireland. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, hands-on, and experienced in international benefits setup and people development. This role requires a proactive and adaptable HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a strategic advisor to global leaders, aligning people initiatives with business goals
2. Support organisational change and HR operations across regions
3. Oversee international benefits, healthcare, and pensions implementation
4. Lead workforce planning in partnership with hiring managers and talent acquisition
5. Design and implement succession planning and leadership development frameworks
6. Champion culture, engagement, and DEI programs
7. Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, learning, and career growth
8. Ensure global HR policies and practices are compliant and effectively implemented
9. Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency through digital HR transformation
10. Manage complex employee relations matters and drive resolution processes
11. Support organisational design, change management, and continuous improvement projects
12. Deputise for the Head of HR in periods of absence
13. Implement HR Policies and procedures
14. Input into the strategic direction of the HR function
15. Promote and develop strong cross-functional relationships and initiatives
Qualifications:
1. Degree in HR, Business Administration, or similar
2. 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a Senior HR Management role
3. Marketplace knowledge and experience of dealing with 3rd party vendors on a global level in relation to benefits
4. Experience managing global HR operations and benefit providers
5. Skilled in employee development and stakeholder engagement
6. Strong people management, communication, and problem-solving skills
7. Comfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments
8. Experience in aviation preferred or from a high-growth multinational
