The Opportunity
We are seeking Project Managers across multiple levels to join our Programme Delivery & Service Transition team.
In this position you will join a team who have overall accountability for delivering system and process change. This involves delivering end to end across a diverse set of projects such as market changes, power system operational systems, technology refresh projects and offshore enablement. You will work closely with teams from across the business such as finance, business requirements, procurement, architecture, IT infrastructure, stakeholder engagement/readiness, etc.
This is an exciting time for EirGrid as we embark on a new strategy to deliver the solutions required to transform the power system in support of the transition to renewable energy. This role will suit Project Managers who are passionate about change and making a difference, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and experienced in stakeholder management.
About You
* Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, at least 4 years post qualifying experience
* Relevant Project Management certification (Prince2 Certified or related Project Management methodology)
* Strong project management skills, and experience in operating and maintaining a system of project controls, in a project management environment
* Extensive experience of managing a broad range of projects including software and infrastructure elements
* Extensive decision making and an ability to prioritise conflicting deliverables
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Extensive technical and analytical skills with the ability to operate in a large complex environment
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team
* Proven experience in risk and change management
