Facilities Engineering Manager
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineering Manager to lead our facilities and technical department. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team of engineers and technicians, with a strong focus on process efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage site facilities and processes to optimize throughput and efficiency.
* Recruit, mentor, motivate, and manage a team of engineers and technicians to maximize plant performance and potential.
* Manage resources to ensure business requirements are met while controlling expenditure for labor, direct expense, and consumables.
* Promote and drive an ethos of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
* Review and adopt best working practices and operational methods to maintain process efficiency and competitiveness.
* Support the Management Team to ensure the business conforms to management systems requirements.
Requirements:
* Graduate in an engineering or related scientific discipline.
* Minimum 5 years management experience of leading a facilities & technical department within a manufacturing organization.
* Knowledge of polymers and polymer processing is advantageous.
* Experience in managing technical capital projects, new product/process development, and introduction.
* Knowledge of labor, health and safety, and environmental legislation.
* Strong communication, negotiation, recruitment, and personnel development skills.
