This pivotal role will shape our global product strategy, ensuring it aligns with Zoetis’ business goals, enhances the customer experience, and delivers measurable value to veterinary practices worldwide.As the Product Lead, you will collaborate with the Head of Software and Technology and oversee the Global Product Marketing and Delivery teams. You’ll combine a deep understanding of software product management with a passion for the veterinary industry to drive product success from concept to delivery.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Product Strategy Development and execution - 30%Responsible for setting the product strategy for Virtual Recall Services (iRecall & OurVet.Shop) based on pet owner and customer needs, competitive insights, business analytics and opportunities arising from emerging technologies and adjacent spaces with the objective to deliver unique customer experiences.Drive business alignment: ensure that our service offering aligns with Zoetis’ global category objectives thereby strengthening Virtual Recall as part of Zoetis’ holistic continuum of care. Support the delivery of Direct-to-Consumer and Vet Engagement initiatives to ensure 360°messaging around Zoetis’ core therapeutic areas.Define the value proposition: develop core messaging and value positioning for our services. This will be used to create and maintain global brand guidelines, product playbooks and marketing collateral (website, sales materials, product training and practice onboarding materials). In addition, working with Learning & Development to incorporate the Virtual Recall value proposition into in-market Zoetis solution-selling training.Lead the localisation and support in-market execution of product launches and feature enhancements, coordinating product marketing, sales, and support teams.Thought leadership: promote the product internally and externally, through talks at sales meetings, industry conferences, customer congress. Be the expert voice within the business.Driving Operational excellence and efficiency - 25%This role will be responsible for the effective definition and efficient delivery of the development roadmap and ensure that it is in line with the business requirements (quality & timing).Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the needs of stakeholders and business.User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: With the Global Product Marketing Manager, write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team.Accountable for managing the sprint planning and release planning to ensure successful delivery of product innovations and enhancements.Quality Assurance: Work closely with the QA team to ensure that the product meets high standards of quality and usability.Drive process efficiencies: Using technology and integration of Zoetis systems to drive efficiencies throughout the development cycle, installation process and practice onboarding.Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development progress and gathering feedbaOwning external partnership strategy (PiMs and 3rd party integrations) - 25%Define and own an overarching PiMs strategy for Virtual Recall: including market need assessment, capability gap analysis, definition of (development) resource requirements and translate this into a clear roadmap for the business.Developing strong relationships with PiMS partners is mission critical to Virtual Recall’s success, and the Product Lead is responsible for ensuring best possible integrations with each of these partners.
