We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued growth in the B2B sector.
Role Summary:
As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales and fostering relationships with our resellers and specifier market in Ireland. This role combines account management, client engagement, and business development to ensure our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Client Engagement:
* Manage accounts of existing resellers in Ireland, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
* Build and sustain long-term relationships with B2B customers, providing exceptional service and support.
* Actively manage and nurture relationships with current B2B clients.
Sales Development:
* Drive sales growth with existing partners and through the specifier market.
* Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company’s growth.
* Handle in-bound enquiries and quote requests from both resellers and specifiers.
* Follow up on emails, leads, and enquiries promptly and effectively.
Operational Management:
* Maintain and update displays in retail shops across Ireland.
* Plan and manage time efficiently to maximize productivity and client engagement.
* Use and manage CRM platforms (e.g., Monday.com) to ensure accurate client records and follow-ups.
Reporting & Communication:
* Complete and submit sales reports and forecasts accurately and on time.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills internally with team members and externally with clients and stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential:
* 2-3 years of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in a related field.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in IT systems, including Word, Excel, and Email.
* Experience with CRM platforms, such as Monday.com.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Fluent in English.
Preferred:
* Demonstrable educational background.
* Knowledge of B2B sales in sectors such as engineering, construction, design, or urban planning.
* Polished and professional personal presentation.
Working Conditions:
* Hybrid Role: 60% office-based in New Ross; 40% on the road visiting stores. Remote office work will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
* Travel: Company car provided for work-related travel; overnight and other travel expenses covered if required.
* Business mobile phone and laptop provided.
Remuneration Package:
* Competitive basic annual salary, plus commission based on experience.
