Role Description:
The Information Security Officer will collaborate with the Business Information Security Officer's organization and Global Banking and Markets Chief Information Officers and Chief Technology Officers teams to understand the business and provide specialized information security risk-based discussions.
This relationship ensures a focus on priority risks. The Information Security Officer will also serve as the day-to-day point of contact, providing guidance on information security topics and policies.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide advisory and oversight for changes within the Global Banking and Markets environment related to security.
2. Collaborate with Risk teams to support their activities.
3. Work with the global BISO organization to effectively communicate Global information security requirements and initiatives.
4. Establish and maintain a network of stakeholders and partners.
5. Conduct routine liaison and coordination across risk partners and technology groups to remediate GIS issues.
6. Coordinate and drive remediation of ad hoc GIS issues.
What we are looking for:
1. Experience within an information security technology operational, engineering, or consulting team.
2. Strong interpersonal skills for communication and negotiation with senior stakeholders.
Skills that will help:
1. Experience within a technology and financial organization at a mid-level to senior level.
2. Understanding of vulnerability management and associated monitoring solutions.
3. Experience of formal security risk assessment methodologies.
4. In-depth technical understanding of Technology Infrastructure operations.
5. Previous experience working within a financial institution.
