Cost Engineer – Contract in Ireland
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical client based in Ireland.
The client is seeking a Cost Engineer to join their team due to a large capital investment and multiple projects on site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interface with engineers and management for cost control monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
* Assist the Project Cost Lead in all aspects of Cost Control Management and its applications regarding commercial, technical, and services of the project.
* Convert the Project estimate into the Control Budget and incorporate it into the Project Cost System in accordance with the Work Breakdown Structure.
* Maintain the integrity of the Cost Management database.
* Manage and maintain resource schedules and cost estimates by discipline, cost centre, and cost discipline.
* Educate the Project team on the Budget basis.
* Facilitate the Change Management program by preparing Trends, Budget Shifts, and Change Orders for review.
* Ensure accurate Cost Coding for Purchase Orders, vendor invoices, subcontractor invoices, and verify provided cost codes are recorded in the Accounts Payable system.
