Join us as a Senior Commercial Manager Drive strategic commercial success for Three Ireland as a Senior Commercial Manager.
This pivotal role offers the chance to lead and shape our vendor relationships, negotiate key commercial agreements, and optimise our supplier portfolio, directly supporting our competitiveness in the market.
You will be at the forefront of the evolving telecommunications landscape, influencing our commercial strategy and building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Responsible for leading the Commercial Vendor team for Three Ireland.
Managing effective launches and lifecycle management of multiple devices across a range of segments and vendors.
Acting as the commercial lead with full end-to-end management of commercial negotiations with vendors and responsible for the development of vendor strategies.
Representing Three Ireland as part of our Global Devices Team.
What else it involves: Lead commercial negotiations to achieve targeted vendor funding, marketing, and price support, whilst building compelling partner plans for Three Ireland.
The key internal teams you will interface with are trading (acquisition, in-life & retention), commercial performance, finance, planning, supply chain and sales performance.Represent Three Ireland at the Group CK IOD Global Central Procurement Session to act as a combined voice to maximise the commercial negotiations and strategy at group level.
Reporting back on vendor performance and group initiatives.Assume responsibility for the operational relationship with hardware vendors and work closely with the Devices team to bring compelling products for our existing and future customers to market in an innovative way which supports our Three behaviours and initiatives.Ensuring full support of broad range of internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the device, including but not limited to supporting sales via marketing across all channels, managing and resolving operational issues, enabling products and services onto devices and support a strong GTM execution.Develop a thorough understanding of the Three Ireland's customer segmentation, strategies, key tariffs and price plans.
Build a thorough awareness of competitive marketplace for both networks and retailers.Have in-depth knowledge of vendor strategies and their company plans.
Ensure internal stakeholders understand what your vendors want to achieve within the market and within Three supporting long-term planning.Responsible for the effective overall launch of relevant devices across all Three's sales channels, including supporting relevant marketing and developing collaboration plans.Responsibility to ensure the execution of each hardware is monitored and communicated.
All channels execute via the trading brief the vendor specialist ensures this execution is in line with both the vendors & business expectations.Act as the representative from vendors within Three owning all of the touchpoints and communications for both consumer and business.Responsible for all Quarterly Business Reviews, vendor account updates to C Level and managing senior management vendor engagement.
Including internal and market insights.Responsible for Senior Management performance cascades on vendor funding and recovery.Responsible for creating vendor funding budgets and working with finance on in-year reforecasting.Work closely with the Senior Devices Manager to understand vendor partner roadmaps, device launches, product lifecycle and how these shape future commercial conversations and negotiations.Responsible for managing the Commercial Vendor Team priorities.Support Finance in recovering agreed vendor funding on a quarterly basis.The skills we're looking for Strong people leader to manage an effective commercial team of vendor managers to maximise vendor funding for Three Ireland, achieving the company budget.An effective communicator who can negotiate clear lines of communication with vendors and internal senior management.Developing and leading vendor relationships with all vendors, including the creation and execution of vendor strategies.
Strong business acumen, understanding of commercial contracts as well as a track record in commercial negotiation planning.Management of key internal stakeholders to build opportunities for vendors and Three Ireland focusing on pricing, propositions, sales, trading, Go To Market, marketing, procurement and legal.Understand legal processes to initiate and execute vendor partner contracts, NDA's and Branding Agreements.Understanding EU & Local regulations and how these shape product portfolios, in-life management and commercial agreements.Identify Commercial Risks that are linked with current and future product portfolios.Nice to Have: Technical, business or marketing degree or equivalent relevant experience.Proven leading relationship management & skills.Demonstrate market delivery of mobile device products (or other consumer electronic products).Consistent proven ability to identify and adopt rational solutions and evaluations to highly emotive issues.
