Cluain Mhuire is a national center of innovation in public mental health service provision delivering a community based adult mental health service for the South East Coast of Co. Dublin to a catchment area of some 182,000 people approximately. In addition to general adult mental health services, Cluain Mhuire provides early intervention in psychosis, ADHD, gender and general hospital mental health services.

Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Cluain Mhuire Service are now inviting applications for the post of Community Mental Health Nurse. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users.
Role Summary
We have recently developed a MHID team which provides community mental health intellectual disability services to people living in those parts of CHO 6 covered by the Cluain Mhuire and Dublin South East Mental Health Services.
Minimum Requirements
Psychiatric Nurse with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
* Be registered on the current psychiatric nursing division of the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland
* Demonstrable an understanding of working with individuals with an intellectual disability
* Demonstrable evidence of working within a multidisciplinary team framework.
* Provide evidence that they are engaging in continuing professional development.
* Have proved demonstrable experience of flexible working and project a professional appearance/attitude fully embracing the recovery philosophy of Mental Health Nursing.
* Have excellent communication, teamwork, organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Have experience of working in the mental health environment.
* Have a full clean driving license.
Remuneration
Salary Grade 2301 Mental Health Staff Nurse on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale
€59,661 - €75,389 per annum pro rata
Initial location
The initial location of this role is Sandyford. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable.
