Role Overview
This is a 1-year fixed term contract for a Social Content Creator & Marketing Executive in Cork or Dublin.
The successful candidate will create and manage omnichannel content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn to maintain a strong and dynamic social presence for Kilkenny Design.
Main Responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
1. Create engaging, on-brand content for social media, including videos, reels, graphics, and photography for domestic and tourist brands and markets.
2. Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content tailored for platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
3. Schedule content that is fresh, relevant, and aligned with key campaigns.
4. Write compelling and brand-aligned captions, headlines, and social copy.
5. Stay up-to-date with digital trends and ensure we stay ahead of shifts.
6. DIRECT retail team on creating user-generated content such as fashion and gifting.
7. Collaborate with the marketing design team for graphic and video content requests.
Social Media Management & Engagement
1. Publish and schedule posts across various social platforms.
2. Maintain brand tone and messaging while responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
3. Brief shopping centre location partners on social media content to drive awareness and footfall to stores.
4. Assist in influencer collaborations, user-generated content campaigns, and customer interactions.
5. Support paid social requirements and agency briefing.
Omnichannel Content Marketing
1. Craft in-store radio briefs, signage requests, and manage digital screens in-store.
2. Lead retail pop-up campaigns and in-store brand activations.
3. Brief website graphics, landing page updates, and support online storytelling.
4. Brief ezine content as required.
5. Curate gift lists for PR calendar moments.
Champion Green
1. Support key campaigns and initiatives for Champion Green.
2. BUILD our Champion Green social community through regular content and audience engagement.
3. Update website content at key times in the year.
Performance & Insights
1. Analyse content performance using social media analytics tools and provide recommendations for optimization.
2. Experiment with new content formats and engagement strategies based on data-driven insights.
Collaboration & Innovation
1. Collaborate with the Senior Brand & Content Creator, wider marketing team, and retail teams to align content with business goals.
2. Participate in photoshoots, product launches, events, and other brand activations as needed.
3. Stay current with industry trends and emerging digital platforms.
Key Requirements
* Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn).
* Experience in creating video and image-based content.
* Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar editing software.
* Excellent storytelling skills and creative eye for aesthetics and branding.
* Strong writing and grammar skills for crafting engaging social captions.
* A passion for digital trends and keen sense of shareable content.
* A knowledge and interest in retail operations and digital.
