Job description
We are inviting applications for a full-time Graduate Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer to join our team here in PRO Stainless. Supporting the Senior Commercial Engineers in the Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharmaceutical sectors, the role includes the following responsibilities:
1. Understand customer requirements based on the product specifications and designs.
2. Working with internal departments such as engineering, projects, quality & purchasing.
3. Support the Senior Commercial Engineers in the preparation of the technical tender proposals.
4. Following a successful tendering process, compile the technical specification handover documents and host handover meetings with relevant departments.
5. Review designs and drawings with engineering dept to ensure the specification matches customer requirements.
6. Assist in the design, engineering and manufacturing processes.
7. Update relevant information in the CRM database and sales volume and scheduling.
8. Identify and monitor continuous improvement methods of manufacture.
9. Prepare monthly payment application claims and liaise with finance team to ensure accuracy of project valuations.
The successful candidate will have:
1. 3rd level Engineering Degree.
2. An interest in metal fabrication/manufacturing as well as some experience in the use of CAD.
3. Ability to read and understand drawings, engineering specifications, BOQs and schedules.
4. Good communication skills.
5. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow through on projects.
6. A good team player whilst also capable of working on their own initiative.
7. Strong IT proficiency.
