With a focus on sterile filling and OSD processes, you will lead 3D design, resolve design clashes, and ensure alignment across disciplines. This role combines technical expertise with leadership to deliver high-quality project outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Piping Design Leadership: Oversee 3D piping system layouts to meet project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.Project Coordination: Act as Lead Designer for medium-to-large projects, managing design deliverables, resources, and multidisciplinary coordination.BIM & Clash Resolution: Lead BIM meetings and resolve design clashes across piping, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines.Team Management: Supervise and mentor piping designers, ensuring technical excellence and meeting project timelines.Vendor & Client Collaboration: Engage with vendors to integrate equipment into designs and liaise with clients to align deliverables with project expectations.Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of designs, models, and isometric drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.Material Selection: Oversee material take-offs and support procurement teams in identifying appropriate piping materials.Required Skills & Experience:Expertise: 10+ years of experience in piping design, specifically in pharmaceutical, biopharma, or life sciences sectors.3D Design: Proficiency in tools like CADWorx, Plant3D, and Navisworks for design and clash detection.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of P&IDs, piping specifications, and industry codes.Leadership: Proven experience leading design teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve multidisciplinary design challenges effectively.Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and teams.Preferred Qualification:Certificate (Level 6) or Diploma/Ordinary Degree (Level 7) in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.Key Attributes:Strong attention to detail and quality control.Effective project management and multitasking abilities.Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Why Arcadis?At Arcadis, we empower everyone to be their best because your contribution matters.
