Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our finance team in Cork. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting financial operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day account management.
Responsibilities & Duties
* Financial Operations: Support the finance team in maintaining seamless revenue compliance while managing key receivables and payables functions with precision and efficiency.
* VAT Compliance: Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring adherence to relevant tax regulations.
* Sales Invoicing: Manage sales invoicing, customer statements, and overdue account follow-ups.
* Customer Management: Process customers' receipts and manage and resolve customer queries.
* Credit Control: Maintain and reconcile Debtors ledger, process and file purchase and expense invoices, and support the monthly payment run process.
* Bank Reconciliations: Process weekly bank transactions and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
* Management Accounts: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Audit Support: Assist with the annual financial audit.
Ideal Candidate
* Accounting Qualification: Accounting technician qualification is an advantage.
* Industry Experience: Strong background in a similar role within the SME sector, VAT & RCT compliance experience is essential.
* Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
