Wave Dynamics Acoustic Consultants (www.wdacoustics.com) are seeking an Acoustic Consultant/Senior Acoustic Consultant to join our acoustics team. The role will be based in Ireland from our Dublin, Wexford, or Cork offices. We are seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in both building and environmental acoustics.

We are a dynamic and progressive acoustic consultancy, and we are seeking to expand our team to assist with our current workload. This role is an opportunity for an acoustic consultant (2 years +) to join a growing consultancy to help grow and shape the future of the company.

About the Role
This role is at Senior/Acoustic Consultant Level.
Responsibilities include:
1. Lead and manage acoustic projects across building and environmental sectors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
2. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
3. Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver innovative acoustic solutions that meet project objectives.
4. Project Management of both building acoustics and environmental projects.
5. Supporting Junior consultants with calculations, modelling and reporting as required.
Minimum Requirements
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SoundPlan (or equivalent), INSUL, ODEON, EASE, and related software.
2. Proven experience in building and environmental acoustics with a successful project management track record.
3. Solid technical expertise in acoustic analysis, noise impact assessments, and compliance with regulations.
4. Full driver’s license and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
5. Experience in renewable energy projects is an advantage.
Desired Qualifications
1. Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in acoustics or a related engineering discipline; IOA post-graduate diploma preferred.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in acoustics.
