We are currently on the lookout for Summer Assistants to join our amazing team in Cork to support as we welcome thousands of locals and tourists alike, all with one mission - to experience the phenomenal City of Cork over Summer.
Responsibilities
Key ResponsibilitiesSound like something you'd be interested in? Here's what you'll do:• Be the face of our space! Use your charisma and charm when checking guests in and out• Resolving guests queries in a timely and helpful manner• Checking bookings and dealing with payments• Responding to guest requests in person, over the phone, over email or via our review sites in a professional and empathetic way• Keeping up to date with the administration including reporting• Setting up and clearing our spaces throughout the seasona. Day to day housekeeping as required (it can get super busy!)b. Linen changes • Reporting any maintenance requests to our amazing maintenance team accurately and quickly• Managing room keys• Assisting with cleaning and turnover of rooms• Updating and checking daily cleaning lists • Handover lists • Stock rotation• Room checks
Qualifications
QualificationsSound like a good fit for you? Here's what you'll need:• Great customer service skills - you'll be a true people person who loves interaction with people from all kinds of backgrounds• Strong communication skills - you'll be speaking to guests from all over the world and communicating with staff and management • Good time management- you will need to be prepared for busy turnaround days• The ability to work well in a busy environment• Experience in housekeeping/ willing to learn how to make beds• Organisation skills - there will be a lot of reporting and administration to attention to detail is key• Confidence with office computer systems (gold star if you've ever worked with a booking system).• Flexibility - this role will cover working hours from 8am - 11pm Monday - Sunday.
