Job Summary
The Sales & Event Executive will assist the director of sales & marketing in promoting the company both nationally and internationally. The role involves identifying new leads, undertaking proactive sales calls, and managing client events.
Main Responsibilities
1. Assist the director of sales & marketing in promoting the company's products and services.
2. Identify and qualify new leads for the business by arranging meetings, presentations, and site visits.
3. Undertake proactive sales calls via email, in person, or online with clients as outlined in the Sales & Marketing Plan.
4. Promote and generate new business for transient, group, meetings & functions.
5. Represent the business at networking/industry events when required.
6. Manage and co-host client events in conjunction with the sales team.
7. Manage the company database with a focus on growing and segmenting contacts for better communication.
8. Provide regular reports on sales activities and revenue generated.
9. Prepare and present customized event proposals and quotations.
10. Ensure all client requirements are met and accurately documented.
11. Collaborate with the hotel's event and operational teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
Requirements
* A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role with a focus on Hospitality Sales & Event Promotion.
* Presentable and sociable personality.
* Positive attitude and highly focused and disciplined individual.
* Strong personality and excellent communication skills (oral and written).
* Ability to maintain and develop customer relations.
* Ability to manage and work within a team as well as on your own initiative.
Package Offered
A competitive salary from €35K to €40K per year dependent on experience, fuel and meal expenses when out of office, and other benefits to be discussed during the interview stage.
