We are now recruiting for a Digital & Social Media Manager.
SCOPE OF THE JOB:
* To work in conjunction with the Director of Marketing & Communications and the Revenue and Business Development Team to increase all revenue streams, ensuring budgeted sales are met by attracting new business digitally to the hotel.
* Work closely with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our overall marketing objectives.
* Create on-brand, engaging and visually appealing content for all social media platforms, including posts, stories, reels, short-form video content, and graphics.
* Monitor and engage with our social media community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
* Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote events, special offers, brand building, or new initiatives.
* Utilise social media analytics tools to track key metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversions.
* Craft compelling captions, headlines, and calls-to-action that align with the brand's tone and voice.
* Proficiency in crafting engaging and informative newsletters.
* Work with the Business Development Team to promote and market the hotel on a national and international level.
* Support the development and implementation of digital marketing and online strategy.
* Monitor all online and digital content.
* Manage the hotel's content management system (CMS) for content creation, implementation, and optimization.
* SEO and all aspects of organic search.
* Understand display, PPC and other paid advertising channels.
* Manage customer databases and email marketing.
* Manage content and imagery on all third-party websites.
* Manage client feedback on third-party systems.
* Coordinate content that creates brand awareness and engagement.
* Report on social media performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
* Compile and execute a "Quarterly Content Calendar" and support an annual digital marketing plan.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop and implement our Social Media Strategy for the urban resort complex.
* Drive all Organic Social and Paid Social activity of the hotel.
* Communicate directly with our online customers across all social media channels.
* Monitor all digital and social media content and adapt into the business.
* Daily management of all social media channels.
* Assist our digital agency to drive overall digital marketing strategies.
* Assist in the execution of our strategic marketing plans against a defined hotel budget.
* Ensure the website's content is current and speaks directly to the luxury market.
* Work with the hotel's agreed agencies to deliver desired outcomes.
* Deliver a set of KPIs as defined by the Director of Business Development & Communications.
* Ensure the email marketing calendar is adhered to as per the digital marketing plan.
* Review all reviews on third-party platforms daily and report any issues.
THE CANDIDATE FOR THE POSITION WILL HAVE:
* Minimum of one year previous experience in marketing, social media, content development, filmmaking, or a similar role.
* Outstanding proficiency in copywriting.
* Exceptional self-motivation and proactive initiative.
* Proven track record of strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with web management, CMS and e-commerce.
* Willingness to assist a team environment and adapt to challenges.
