Field Sales Executive – Gifts & Packaging - Leinster
About Your New Employer
This company is a leading supplier of packaging, branded bags, boxes, gift packaging and more. They are looking for a business development executive where you will be selling to national accounts at corporate level.
The role’s core focus will be on generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
This role will cover the whole of Ireland but is mainly Leinster.
About Your Sales Executive job
* Account Management: Oversee a diverse portfolio of gift packaging accounts, tailoring services and growth strategies for each segment.
* Sales Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan aimed at increasing market share and profitability, setting clear objectives and KPIs to measure progress.
* Upselling & Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to upsell packaging solutions (e.g., branded retail bags, food-to-go packaging) to existing customers.
* Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new customers, expanding the client base and driving new revenue streams.
* Customer Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and collaborate with the internal team to develop innovative packaging solutions.
* Sales Reporting: Prepare weekly sales forecasts and monthly budget reports, providing insights on performance and new opportunities to the Head of Sales.
* Inventory Management: Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure timely product availability, adjusting inventory based on customer demand and sales trends.
* Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers of key gift packaging materials, ensuring product quality and timely delivery.
* Industry Representation: Represent this client at trade shows and industry events to promote products, build brand awareness, and network with potential customers.
What Skills You Need for this Business Development Job
* Full clean driving licence
* Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in field sales, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the full sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
* A background in Packaging or Print
* Proven track record of generating new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets, including revenue and profit goals.
