Job Description
The International Payroll Specialist will join a Global Life Sciences Company in Cork, Ireland, at their Shared Services Centre.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare journals, accruals, and Balance Sheet reconciliations for month-end payroll activities.
* Ensure monthly and yearly local tax payments and compliance requirements are met.
* Implement sufficient controls to capture changes month on month and reconcile any differences.
* Schedule, participate, and facilitate payroll-related meetings and presentations.
* Provide timely and accurate reporting to internal and external agencies.
* Prepare employee and payroll tax payments.
* Work with HR and Payroll providers to ensure consistent and accurate flow of information.
* Create and maintain control DTP documentation, process flows, and procedures.
* Drive efficiencies and process improvements.
* Manage the Payroll SPARC system and respond to queries in a timely manner.
* Work with external providers regarding specific payroll treatment for employees.
* Collaborate with internal and external audit to ensure the integrity of payroll information.
Requirements
* Professional Qualification with IPASS.
* Advanced skills in Ms Office Suite, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Oracle, and SAP.
* An effective team player with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* A clear, fast thinker, problem solver, able to translate business needs into pragmatic solutions.
* Ability to work effectively in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment.
* Attention to detail to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time.
